When you beat the game, there is a lift at the back of axle town which takes you to a floor with a few really tough battles and an odd machine - approach the machine and pay a large sum of pokedollars and you raise the 'world rank' thus making every pokemon in the game far stronger. When you beat dark rust all pokemon are raised to the 1500 - 2000 mark anyway.
