I don;t think you can because in rain water there is sand and chamicals, if you boil it down you are only killing harmful bacterical and that's it. So i do not think you can boil rain water for drinking water.

The number of times you need to purify water depends on the initial condition of the water and the purification method used. In general, it is recommended to purify water until it meets the safety standards for drinking, which typically involves filtering, boiling, or using chemicals to eliminate potential contaminants. It's important to follow guidelines from health authorities for safe drinking water.
I put a tablet in the cup of creek water to purify it.
This eucalyptus ointment will help to purify the air.
To filter water, you can use a portable water filter or a pitcher with a built-in filter to remove impurities. Boiling water is a simple and effective way to purify it: bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute to kill harmful organisms. Allow the water to cool before drinking.
They take the drinking water, filter it(with charcoal and sand), then boil it to remove any bacteria.

Some alternative methods to purify water besides boiling include using water filters, chemical disinfection methods like chlorine or iodine tablets, ultraviolet (UV) light treatment, and distillation.
you can do it by boiling it
You can put the straw into the water and then suck, the water will come out filtered.
Running it through sand, using specialized magnets, and boiling it.
Different methods can be used to purify water effectively, such as filtration, boiling, chlorination, and ultraviolet (UV) treatment. Filtration involves passing water through a physical barrier to remove impurities. Boiling water kills harmful bacteria and viruses. Chlorination involves adding chlorine to water to kill bacteria and other pathogens. UV treatment uses ultraviolet light to disinfect water by inactivating microorganisms. These methods can help make water safe for drinking and other uses.
