Another perspective:The same place my dog did: his dish, our pool-when we lived where we had one, the lake out back--after we moved, the toilet if someone forgot and left the lid up, the neighbor's sprinkler, my granddaughter's Popsicles, and just about anywhere else he could.
Understand, I loved my dog more than I ever would have guessed I could, but he was a free spirit. His wandering around to get a drink was his way of exploring and meeting the neighbors. They all loved him too.
