If you are referring to the beer drinking vessel similar to a Chalice or Goblet but with thicker walls and a thicker stem then they are typically 16 or 20oz, this is most commonly called a schooner.
There also exists a drinking vessel of 6 or 8 oz that looks like a small water glass that is less commonly called a Schooner.

A schooner is not a standard measure. In the UK it can be a relatively large sherry glass or a bigger glass used for beer or cider (2/3 pint). In Newcastle, (England) though, it is a 1/2 pint glass used for serving brown ale. In Australia, a schooner could be a 10 oz or 15 oz glass. So take your pick!
