A standard bottle of Buckfast tonic wine contains approximately 15 grams of sugar per 100 milliliters. Since a typical bottle is 750 milliliters, this results in about 112.5 grams of sugar per bottle. It's important to note that the exact sugar content can vary slightly depending on the specific product variant.
how many syns is in a bottle of buckfast wine
Generally, about 5 grams of sugar in a bottle of Merlot.

7 calories in every 1 gram of alcohol..... 1 gram = 1 ml Buckfast bottle = 75cl or 750ml therefore 750ml x 15% alcohol content = 113ml = 113gram 113gram x 7 = 790 calories and that's just for the alcohol, there are obviously natural sugars present, which I got from buckfast directly, which is between 90-100g of natural sugars. So, 4 calories in every gram of CHO [Carbohydrate] 1g of sugar = 1g CHO therefore 100g x 4 = 400 calories So in total, as a minimum and approximation your looking at 1200 calories for a full bottle............. Which for me, is not good.............. :(
Typically very little or no sugar. The yeast converts the sugars to alcohol.
