I think it is: I prefer coffee OVER tea. But it also could be: I prefer coffee to tea.

It could also be more than tea but i think it is I prefer coffee to tea. I would always use to.

Does coffee burn?

it dose burn if it is hot!- I think he/she means does instant coffee burn with hot water. The simple answer is no. Instant coffee has been roasted at 180 degrees so boiling water cannot burn it.However the taste is distinctly different depending on the order in which it is made. People who prefer a mild creamier coffee should put the milk in first, whereas people like me who prefer a strong full bodied slightly bitter coffee should put the hot water in first.
