Depends how much you drink. Too much could kill you because of sodium overdose, but it shouldn't kill you normally.

Answer #2:
If that were true, then ships at sea wouldn't need to carry a lot of drinking water. They'd only need a little of it, to sweeten up the sea water all around them for drinking.
Fact is, sea water is a deadly drink over a relatively short period of time, and "sodium overdose" has nothing to do with it.
Your body chemistry is set up so that your cells absorb fresh water. A significant salt content in the water reverses this "osmotic" pressure, and the flow is in the opposite direction. Just as a salt rub draws moisture out of a chicken or a steak, salt water draws water OUT of your body's cells. The more sea water you drink, the MORE dehydrated you become, and you don't last long.
No, you will not die if you drink from the Dead Sea, but it is highly unrecommended. The high salt concentration can lead to dehydration, increased thirst, and potential kidney damage. It's important to avoid ingesting water from the Dead Sea.
nobody its just dead because nobody lives in it and it is so salty if you drink then water you will have a rock and die
you will die
You can't drink the dead sea water because one drink you will feel that you are going to spit the water out . A few second later , you will soon started to vomit .So, what happen if you drink to much water of dead sea ?Firstly , you will vomit a lot or stomach pain.Secondly , you will faint or you also might die.
The dead sea is not called the dead sea because people sink in it and die, it's called that because there is no water flow, and no creatures swim in it. That is why it is called the dead sea. It doesn't seem to exist, it's like it is dead.
Salt-water is a mild emetic. Also, the body needs more water than is in the sea-water to excrete the salt that is in it.Seawater contains salt and salt dehydrates you, therefore seawater dehydrates you. It also tastes bad and could make you sick. It can lead to health problems as people usually forget the intake amount and drink to excess when desperate for water at sea, such as high blood pressure. Also if you are stranded in the ocean what ever you do do not drink sea water it will speed up your dead meter. It will make you die faster.
Water can't "die." It was never living in the first place. The Dead Sea got it's name from the fact that it has so much salt in it, that no creature can survive in it or thrive from it. In other words, fish cannot live in it because it is too salty and plants cannot absorb it because of the heavy saturation of salt. I think that if people drink the water from the Dead Sea, they supposedly get extremely ill, like sodium poisoning or something.
i think so. i put out salt water which i needed for a project then after a day i found three dead roaches in it.
when you drink sea water it won't instantly kill you. however the salt in the water causes your cells to shrivel up (the water in the cell switches place with the salt on the outside). this makes you even more thirsty, so if you keep drinking sea water your body will have too much salt and you'll die
Only if you drink it, Not recommended. People stranded at sea die from drinking salt water.
They are thirsty in the sun so they have to drink water and they are not animal that drink a lot of water so they die
drink water for all the great reasons... or DIE
