Gatorade is healthy to a point...........the doctor I work for says one a week is good to keep healthy electrolyte balance.

It is also good for people that are sick on a no eating diet or who are losing fluids out one end or the other. The reason for that is water can cause more dumping of all the good things. The sugar sports drinks are absorbed more when going through the digestive system.
