Rechilling beerYes. From the brewer to your refrigerator beer will be chilled and warmed up several times usually. Nothing bad is caused by cooling, warming and then re-cooling a beer. Extreme temperatures can make the beer go stale a little faster, but the myth that a beer will go bad by going from cold to warm to cold is an out-right lie.

Many people think that cold to warm to cold will cause a beer to skunk, which is false. Skunking is caused by a reaction between hops in the beer and UV light. It can happen no matter the temperature.

So feel free to chill your beer, decide you need the fridge space for something else and remove your beer, then rechill it later. You can do this several times and be fine.
