In a vacuum the liquid would "boil" because of the water vapour coming out, and would probably freeze because of all the heat removed with it. Oxygen plays no role in this at all.

Hey!Not all fizzy drinks are bad for you, but most are. Fizzy drinks such as soda, birch beer, or root beer are NOT good for you. But seltzer IS good for you.
