Everclear is usually the highest proof alcohol readily available (the actual alcohol content depends on the state; in states where it's allowed, Everclear is sold at 190 proof, which is also the highest alcohol content that can be obtained by simple distillation). If you absolutely must get a concentration higher than that, you could try starting with Everclear (or some other 190-proof brand) and using fractional recrystallization (if you have a legitimate need for it, you'll know what that means and how to do it).
Also, it is at least theoretically possible to obtain 200 proof "absolute alcohol" (this has nothing to do with Absolut vodka, which is a brand name), though it's sold by chemical supply companies rather than liquor stores. Even if you can get it, it's not advised that you drink it: it may contain traces of benzene, a known carcinogen, which is added in order to distill the alcohol to a higher percentage than the 95% alcohol/water azeotrope normally permits.
Timber is stronger across the grain than along the grain.
Ohio sells lower alcohol percentage by volume beverages than a lot of other states.
Acetone is generally considered to be a stronger solvent than alcohol due to its ability to dissolve a wider range of substances.
they resist stress and spread the load over the length of the board
sugar dissolves, sand don't
Acetic acid is a stronger acid. Ethanol is an alcohol which is slightly acidic but usually neutral in nature.
Grain alcohol is made from a food product such as corn or wheat. It is what is most commonly consumed. Wood alcohol is (obviously) made from wood and is fatally poisonous to humans. Ethanol (grain alcohol) is also deadly, if you drink enough!
Phenol has stronger intermolecular forces (hydrogen bonding) between its molecules compared to alcohol. This stronger bonding requires more energy to break apart, resulting in a higher boiling point for phenol compared to alcohol.
Red wine typically has a higher alcohol content than white wine, making it stronger in terms of potency.
Yes it is, beer is 8% alcohol, champagne is 15% maximum
Yes, IPA (India Pale Ale) is typically stronger than regular beer in terms of alcohol content. IPAs often have a higher alcohol by volume (ABV) percentage compared to other types of beer.
Everclear is 95% alcohol. Comparing that to most vodkas (40%) it is more than twice as strong. There are warning labels on the bottle that tell you not to drink it straight due to very possible harm to your body. Anyways, one shot of Everclear is about 2.5 shots of most other alcohol Alcohol poisoning is different for everyone. Alcohol usually has a greater effect on lighter weight and women, so they would succumb to alcohol poisoning before a heavier person. But it also varies by other things such as fat content, ethnicity, what or how much you have eaten that day. I would guess for the general population, alcohol poisoning would start around 2 - 3 shots, and right after those is death. (but it could start after 1 shot) play it a little safer and mix it with stuff, ALOT of non-alcoholic liquids before drinking
