The Beer Hall Putsch, which occurred in Munich in November 1923, was a failed coup attempt by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party to overthrow the Weimar Republic. Hitler and his supporters attempted to seize power by marching from a beer hall, where they had gathered, to the city center. The coup was quickly suppressed by the police and military, resulting in the deaths of several participants and the arrest of Hitler. This event ultimately led to Hitler's imprisonment, during which he wrote "Mein Kampf" and gained national attention.
