Most water is absorbed by the small intestine and then the large intestine (the large intestine's main function is just to absorb leftover water from the digestive process). However, irritation of the intestinal tract causes it to discharge waste before it can remove water, IE: diarrhea.

Water is carried to the blood stream from the intestines and reaches the kidneys through the renal arteries. The kidneys determine the body's optimal water levels and discharges excess water (along with toxic waste it has filtered) into the bladder via the ureter.

As pressure builds in the bladder, the drinker feels the urge to urinate and then releases it into the nearest toilet.
