Apples earpods work noticeably better than Apples previous earphones, as well as some more expensive ones. They are priced at $30, and are better because rather than adding expensive materials, or making making the earphones more advanced to produce better sound, Apple just changed the structure and add vents. The earphones channel sound directly to the eardrum, rather than bouncing around before reaching it. The vents improve bass (not incredibly great, but noticeable) and mid-range sound, by reducing air pressure in the earphones and allowing it to move more freely. I recommend Apples earpods to people who want better sound quality headphones at a lower price.
I had the Apple Ear Pods, and now I have UrBeats Dr. Dre earphones, and I love my UrBeats 10x more than my Ear Pods, I got what I paid for when I bought them.
You can't submerge them in the alcohol, but you can use a cotton ball or swap to wipe them down. Just be sure not to get any liquid inside of the actual pods.
