"Best" is a purely subjective judgment. Everyone's "best" is different. Canadian Club is the largest selling Canadian whiskey, though.

Glenfiddich Has been the best selling worldwide Malt Whisky for the last eight years. Very popular in America, stocked on virtually every backbar shelf in Europe and quite popular in Japan. They have marketed the label off the bottle almost, and it has paid off.. It has just overtaken Glenmorangie as the most popular Malt in The UK according to the Scotsman Newspaper and that would fit with what the trade are saying.
