Please be advised green tea in its basic form, while good for any number of things, does contain caffeine. Drinking it before bedtime my inhibit your ability to fall asleep. It is better to pick an herbal tea with calming effect. Peppermint (if your stomach is upset), chamomile (soothing to help promote sleep -add a bit of lavender if you have difficulties falling asleep), or rose-hip/hibiscus, which tastes great and has lots of vitamin C (also good for acne).

You should probably check with your doctor to see what is causing you heavy night sweating.
