I'd have to say between an inch and two, dear ^_^
Its either: tab, pop-tab or soda-tab hope that helped :)
the pull-ring tab on pop-cans was invented by Frase but was later sold to Alcoa in 1963.

There is a latch below and to the left of your steering wheel. Pull this latch and it will "pop" the hood and at the same time a plastic pull tab will appear between the slats in your grill. Pulling that tab will release your hood and you can easily raise it.
what will happen if a puppy swallows a pop tab?
a pull "pop" tab is worth 55 cent a pound or it can go up to one dollar a pound it's is usually different from where you live.
There is a red handle under that steering wheel that you pull to pop that hood. On the front grill of the car a grey tab pops out, pull it out and pull the hood up at the same time. Once done, close hood and grey tab is no longer visible. Hope this helps =)
If the pull tab on a pop can breaks, you can use a spoon or a similar object to pry open the can. Position the edge of the spoon beneath the rim of the tab area and apply pressure to create an opening. Alternatively, you can carefully puncture the top of the can with a sharp object like a knife or a screwdriver, ensuring to do so away from your body and fingers for safety. Always exercise caution to avoid injury when using sharp tools.
Double click the ruler > a "Tabs" panel should pop up. there you can see all the tabs (in length). Click on a tab you wish to clear then click clear. then ok.
A pull tab. <--- that is the most common name, however, it is actually called a slide.
