The time it takes for Buckfast, a tonic wine with a high alcohol content, to leave your system depends on various factors, including your weight, metabolism, and the amount consumed. On average, the body metabolizes alcohol at a rate of about one standard drink per hour. Therefore, if you consume a bottle of Buckfast, which contains multiple servings, it could take several hours for the alcohol to fully clear from your system. It's crucial to allow enough time before driving or engaging in activities that require full cognitive function.
I forget the name but there is an off license that stocks both Buckfast and Eldorado
how many syns is in a bottle of buckfast wine
buckfast
7 calories in every 1 gram of alcohol..... 1 gram = 1 ml Buckfast bottle = 75cl or 750ml therefore 750ml x 15% alcohol content = 113ml = 113gram 113gram x 7 = 790 calories and that's just for the alcohol, there are obviously natural sugars present, which I got from buckfast directly, which is between 90-100g of natural sugars. So, 4 calories in every gram of CHO [Carbohydrate] 1g of sugar = 1g CHO therefore 100g x 4 = 400 calories So in total, as a minimum and approximation your looking at 1200 calories for a full bottle............. Which for me, is not good.............. :(

Buckfast Tonic Wine is based on a French recipe handed down by the Buckfast Abbey monks and friars. It was originally bottled and sold as a health aid to avoid being taxed as a spirit.
