The effect of the mento explosion is not as dramatic as the Diet Coke explosion primarily due to the difference in carbonation levels and the amount of gas released. Diet Coke contains a higher concentration of carbon dioxide, which rapidly escapes when the pressure is released, creating a more explosive reaction. Mento candies, while effective in nucleating bubbles, don't produce as much carbonation as the soda itself. Additionally, the surface area of the Mentos provides more nucleation sites but does not generate the same volume of gas as the release from a carbonated beverage.
No
Would you believe it is the candy called Mento's.
diet coke
Yes, More So Diet Coke and Mento's
because the ingridient that works in coke is in root beer and it reacts to the mentos o ya!
An explosion :d
it creates a chemical reacting involving the hard shell of the mentos and all CO2 diet coke contains but regular coke will explode better because of all the sugar it contains
It might work. The dissolved CO2 tends to be released much more readily from Diet Coke, when it gets warmer, or is shaken, or when a catalyst such as a Mentos is added. You may not get a fast enough rate of release from regular coke.
I had to do this for a science project and zero calorie cola worked the best! I used Kroger brand and it exploded 8 feet high! But between cola and diet cola, diet cola went higher! I hoped this helped!
A carbonated drink, usually Diet Coke.
well first you have to tell us what your sticking it up
because it has carbonation which also means "fizz". the mentos has a co2 molecule that changes into gas.
