the qustion on advantages of drinking groundwater are;

1. it saves money as the water is mostily pure as of the chemicals and minerals in the rocks, because we arn't having to and or take away minerals that are/are not needed.eg the ocean water is clened and tested to try and reduce the salt and oraginsm remains.

2. there is alot of it. the water on the Earth surface is constantly being evaporated, while ground water has no contact the water profile just keeps rising and going no where.

... the water in underground sources does move, it seeps through void spaces in soils until it reaches either an ocean, river,lake or is transpired by trees.

trees can transpire about 10 tonne of water a day, so obvioulsy the water profile does change. the rate of change just depends on how fast the water moves in these underground aquifers.
