It is the only sustainable energy that we have. There are only two valid sources of any energy, fossil fuels and nuclear. With less then a 1000 years of oil left, we know fossil fuels will end. Nuclear is also much cleaner. Those that do not understand climate and CO2 also worry about CO2 emissions. The only fuel that produces zero CO2 is nuclear.

Most countries have determined that nuclear is a valid source of power. France brags about how green they are. This is because they are over 90% nuclear.

What is the Use of atomic energy?

Atomic energy is used primarily for generating electricity in nuclear power plants. It is a low-carbon energy source that can produce large amounts of electricity with minimal greenhouse gas emissions. Atomic energy also has applications in medical treatments, industrial processes, and scientific research.

How can you determine whether ionization energy is a periodic function of atomic number?

Ionization energy is a periodic function of atomic number because it follows periodic trends in the periodic table. As you move across a period from left to right, ionization energy generally increases due to increasing nuclear charge. Similarly, as you move down a group, ionization energy generally decreases due to increasing atomic size. These trends repeat as you move through each period, making ionization energy a periodic function of atomic number.

What are the advantages of geothermal?

Geothermal energy is a renewable energy source that has advantages such as being reliable, having a low carbon footprint, and being cost-effective in the long run. It provides a steady and consistent source of power without being dependent on external factors like weather conditions.

What produces the atomic fingerprint of an element?

The atomic fingerprint of an element is produced by the arrangement of electrons in its atoms. Each element has a unique number of protons in its nucleus, which determines its atomic number and chemical properties. The configuration of electrons around the nucleus gives rise to characteristic patterns in spectral lines or energy levels that make up the atomic fingerprint.
