They are metals, and like all metals they are excellent conductors of both heat and eletricity.

While both conduct but not the same see Periodic Table plus silver oxidizes and eventual makes a bad conductor at the joints gold is not as good conductor but is is impervious of elements effects on it.

Name three examples for conductor of insulators?

examples of conductors are gold, silver, cooper, carbon, water containing minerals examples of insulators are plastic, glass, rubber, wood, dry paper thats all i have

Is gold a semiconductor?

No, gold is not a semiconductor. Gold is a metal and is known for its excellent electrical conductivity, unlike semiconductors which have properties that fall between those of conductors and insulators.

List of good and bad conductor of electricity?

Good conductors of electricity include metals such as copper, silver, and gold, as well as materials like graphite. These substances have a high density of free electrons that can easily carry electric current. On the other hand, insulators like rubber, glass, and plastic are poor conductors of electricity because they have very few free electrons available for conduction. Semiconductor materials like silicon and germanium have intermediate conductivity levels, making them useful for electronic devices.

What element family is Copper in?

Copper is in group 11 of the periodic table, which is known as the coinage metals family. This group includes copper, silver, and gold, and they share similar characteristics such as being good conductors of electricity and having a shiny appearance.

What elements conduct electricity at room temperature?

Metals such as copper, silver, and gold conduct electricity well at room temperature. Other elements like aluminum, iron, and nickel also conduct electricity, although not as well as the aforementioned metals.
