Renewable energy sources are things that can be never stopped in nature. The sun, the wind, the earth's heat, and flowing water can never be stopped.
Nonrenewable energy sources have been made by someone or something. Coal is dead animal bodies that got preserved in a certain climate. Petrolium and gasoline are the same, sad story. They should be replaced.
A nonrenewable resource is one that cannot be replenished within a human's lifetime, or is replenished very slowly compared to its rate of consumption. Examples include fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as minerals like iron and copper.
Natural resources: Coal, Silver, Gold, copper, lead, molybdenum, phosphates, uranium, bauxite, iron, mercury, nickel, potash, tungsten, zinc, petroleum, natural gas, timber.Source: www.cia.gov
The advantage of non renewable energy, is it's easy and cheap to use. There is no better way to store transfer and use energy than gasoline for powering motor vehicles. It's quick to pump fossil fuel into a car. Its stable in the tank and a gas tank hold quite a bit, and a gasoline powered car is cheap to manufacture. * Coal is a ready-made fuel. * It is relatively cheap to mine and to convert into energy. * Coal supplies will last longer than oil or gas * Oil is a ready-made fuel. * Relatively cheap to mine and to convert into energy * It is a relatively cheap form of energy. * It's a slightly cleaner fuel than coal and oil. * Gas is a ready-made fuel. * Nuclear has a small amount of radioactive material produces a lot of energy. And raw materials are relatively cheap and can last quite a long time. * It doesn't give off atmospheric pollutants. * Biomass is a cheap and readily available source of energy. and If the crops are replaced, biomass can be a long-term, sustainable energy source, but Biomass is actually considered renewable as plants are always growing. * Wood is a cheap and readily available source of energy. If the trees are replaced, wood burning can be a long-term, sustainable energy source
Metal, like iron, steel and aluminum is a non-renewable resource because it take millions of years to be produced and the world doesn't have an endless supply. The world will run out if metal isn't recycled and that's why there is an increase in the business of recycling metals across the world. So metal is a non-renewable resource.
A renewable resource can run out if it is overexploited or harvested faster than it can be replenished naturally. For example, if forests are clear-cut at a rate that exceeds their ability to regrow, the resource may become depleted. Similarly, overfishing can deplete fish populations faster than they can reproduce, leading to the collapse of fisheries.
Renewable and nonrenewable both give off energy needed for the planet.
Renewable and nonrenewable both give off energy needed for the planet.
the 3 types of resources are natural resources human made resources
By definition a nonrenewable resource is one that cannot be replaced within a short period of time, so with the exception of thousands/millions of years item dependent, the nonrenewable does not have the option of replacement and therefor becomes a lost resource.
A nonrenewable resource is one that cannot be replenished within a human's lifetime, or is replenished very slowly compared to its rate of consumption. Examples include fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as minerals like iron and copper.
Oil is a NONRENEWABLE resource, because you can't make more oil, like from giving birth. Example: Fish are RENEWABLE resources, because the mommy fish give birth to little eggs, that hatch and grow to become a fish, and so on.
It estenially can't really replace a non renewable resource such as Gas, Nuclear, Coal and Oil. However we can start to phase out non renewable resources with solar energy which does not give out the harmful greenhiuse emissions.
Renewable resources are natural resources that we can give back. For example, trees. After we cut them down, we can plant seeds to grow more.
5 examples are: coal petroleum natural gas i don't no 2 more but all it is, is things that can't be remade by man. oil and iron
Windmills are good renewable resources because they give off wind energy and that helps us alto in life
Renewable of course because when a person sucks in air and throw it back it release it as carbon dioxide the the trees receives the carbon dioxide and gives oxygen to everyone. So protect the trees they are life for us and they give out renewable resources we need. Think before throwing out a tree -1 a tree now that's badOxygen is renewed by plant life through the process of photosynthesis.Oxygen is a renewable resource. As long as there are enough trees in the world to produce it from the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere it will always be renewable.
Sunlight, used for solar energy, is a form of renewable energy. Renewable energy is energy with a practically limitless supply, at least within a normal scale of time. The sun will continue to give energy without stop for a longer amount of time than we need to worry about so it is renewable.
