Rotation!! Earth spins around (rotates) and whatever side is facing the sun, that side is experiencing daytime.

Revolution around the sun causes seasons, and tilt, I forgot what that causes. And radiation has nothing to do with anything. (I'm assuming that this is a multiple choice question, so I'm explaining the other answers which I've seen pop up). But that's not as important: just know that rotation causes day and night!
