yes
The Earth was formed about 4.57 billion years ago when a mass of particles and gases formed a rotating cloud that eventually concentrated into what we know call Earth.
If you mean how many years the earth can exist as we know it then we don't know. New inventions and stuff will change our lifestyle at any point from in the next week to the next century. If you mean how many years the earth will exist as far as we know then it will probably be a few more billion.
The earth is roughly 4.5 billion years old. We know this to be the case because we have dated rocks from the moon that old, and earth must be at least as old as our moon.
There is no way to know. Somewhere between 0 and a few billion is a safe guess though.
About 4.5 billion years old - calculated by the radioactive dating of the oldest rocks found AND the dating of even older meteorites.
One billion years ago there were no humans on earth, so 'they' didn't know the distance from the moon to the earth.
According to the science of evolution, the earth is approximately 4.5 billion years old. This period is assumed because of a massive amount of scientific data pointing to that amount of time.
Rocks from the moon have been dated to about 4.5 billion years old. The oldest earth rocks don't date that far back because the earth "reprocesses" rock, and the oldest rocks we know of on earth date back to about 3.7 to 3.8 billion years. The earth and moon formed at approximately the same time, as did the rest of the solar system.
the earth is between 4.5 and 5 billion years old don't ask how i know that i just do
I don't know what you think, I think the Earth is about 4.6 billion years old.
We don't actually know what year the earth was made. Or I don't know anyway.
The Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Life has been around for 3.5 billion years. Complex life forms originated about 500 million years ago. There is no telling if/when life will cease to exist on Earth or if/when it will be destroyed in space.
we actually dont know how many more years the earth will live all we know is that the earth can sustaine life for about 2.6 billion more years . hey but dont worry we probaly wont be around when that happens
My opinion is that there was more Earth one billion years ago because of the ice age. I don't know if I'm right because I'm only a 6th grader.
While planetary science and biological science are not exact, and by no means perfect, it is factual based on what we know and can prove. That being said, the Earth is approximately 4.6 billion years old. Life on Earth dates back approximately 3.6 billion years to simple cell prokaryotes. Some might use this to poke holes in evolutionary theory, however, even from a fundamental Christian perspective, evolution and creationism are not mutually exclusive, and there is far more concrete evidence that supports evolutinary science than credible refutation.
