Yes they do! My son was bit by one and it would'nt let go... if you catch one and hold it from above by the top if it where it flattens out and hold a tiny stick or piece of paper in front of it it will bite the stick or paper and you will se its large black pinchers... it is rather shocking to see how big they are...
