no geothermal energy is usally under ground
because geothermal energy gives air pollution
Geothermal energy utilization does not cause air pollution as fossil fuelsGeothermal energy is renewable source of energy while fossil fuel is not.
The disadvantages of geothermal energy are:There is considerable implementation cost when the source is deep. Not many suitable sites. Can run out of steamMay release harmful gasesNot a widespread source of energyIt is only practical to use this energy in places where magma is close to Earth's surface
acid rain
The only way to reduce air pollution is to limit activities that cause it. Some things that would reduce air pollution including driving less, installing technology to reduce pollution from industry, and promote the use of alternative energy sources.

Underground pipes are used to circulate water or air to produce geothermal energy. It is thermal energy generated and stored in the Earth.

Geothermal Energy
Hydroelectric energy Solar Powered energy Fuel cell energy
Nuclear, hydro, wind
No. It's the other way round. Using less electricitymeans there is less carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere.Electricity is mostly produced by burning fossil fuels, which release carbon.

There are types of pollution associated with geothermal energy. The most important is the release of greenhouse gasses that were trapped underground and allowed to be released because the geothermal units provide outlets for them; this is true of open circuit systems. The pollution caused is not very large, and is probably no worse than the incidental (non-radioactive) pollution associated with nuclear power. Closed circuit geothermal systems do not release these greenhouse gasses in the course of normal operation, and these are comparable in their carbon footprint with wind, hydro, and recent solar photovoltaic technology.
Water. Sunlight. Solar energy. Air. Wind. Wood. Geothermal energy.
As humans, we can reduce air pollution by limiting our use of energy and polluntants.
