Does human respiration affect global warming?

Global warming is being caused by the extra carbon dioxide (CO2) released by the burning of fossil fuels, and by deforestation, which removed the forests that used to absorb CO2 from the atmosphere.

Human respiration, where we breathe out CO2, is part of the natural carbon cycle. For millions of years the carbon cycle has been able to move CO2 in and out of the atmosphere. Of course there are now almost 7 billion people in the world, so we are having some effect. However, it is unlikely that human respiration alone would have much effect on global warming.
