well in simple terms a static electricity is charge, which is a basic quality of matter , in fact it is as basic as mass. Now, a charge in motion is a current or in other words electricity. And magnetism is a result of the motion of charge. so in a way these all three are related.

What is magnetism closely related to?

Magnetism is closely related to electricity and is a fundamental force in physics. The interaction between electric currents and magnetic fields is governed by electromagnetic principles. This relationship is summarized in Maxwell's equations, which describe how electric and magnetic fields are interconnected.

What is the difference between magnetism and electricity?

The difference between electricity and magnetism is that you must be in the same frame of reference as the electric field to experience electricity, because all that magnetism is, is electricity moving relative to you.Although they are two different forms of energy, you can use magnetism to create electricity and you can use magnetism to create electricity.Electricity is the flow of energy or current through a metallic substance. Magnetism is the attraction of the metallic molecules in a solid or substance.

Are electricity and magnetism the same thing?

Electricity and magnetism are similar but yet different. They are both able to make a form of each other. If electricity charges are pulled at a great force they will be able to create a type of magnetic force. Magnets are able to produce forms of electricity when their pulls are changed.

Plastic combs in dry hair create static electricity. What kind of electricity is this?

The static electricity created by plastic combs in dry hair is a form of frictional electricity. This occurs when two materials rub together and exchange electrons, creating a buildup of charge that can result in static electric effects like hair standing on end.

When you wash the clothes why do they do magnetism?

Washing clothes does not create magnetism. However, if you accidentally leave a magnetic object (such as a magnetic button or steel zipper) in your clothes and wash them together, the magnetism of the object may interact with other items in the wash causing them to stick together.

Is it true the accumulation of electric charged on an object is called magnetism?

No, it is not true. The accumulation of electric charge on an object is called static electricity. Magnetism is a separate phenomenon associated with the magnetic field produced by moving electric charges.

What is the box's magnitism?

A box does not have magnetism, whatever you try to do to it it will never have magnetism. There are no elements in the box that can make the box have static electricity.

How are current and static electricity related?

Current electricity is the flow of electrons through a conductor, while static electricity is the buildup of electric charge on an object. Both are manifestations of the fundamental force of electromagnetism. Static electricity can discharge to become current electricity under certain conditions.
