Turn off anything that is electronic when you leave a room (like lights or the TV), don't use your car a lot, and don't make smoke (like don't have campfires) because the smoke will burn holes in the Earth's ozone layer (which is one of the results of global warming).
The first thing would be to try to rely more on public transportation. Trade your SUV in for a vehicle which gets better gas mileage. Walk or bike to work, if you can, or get a bike rack and find a less expensive place to park half way from where you work--it would cut down on both gas miles to work and the amount of time you might spend at a gym. Win/win.
Politically, you could oppose licensing more coal fired power generation plants, and support measures to increase our reliance on renewable energy sources. This would have the added benefit of increasing jobs. Coal energy jobs have declined steadily over the years, even as our consumption of coal has increased. Anything that slows down the increase of CO2 emissions will slow the rate of human induced climate change.
We bumped CO2 up from 300 ppm in 1950 to nearly 400 ppm today. Before 2050 we will exceed 500 ppm at our current rate of increase. Earth's climate will continue adjusting to this new level for centuries to come. In other words, the full effects of what we have already done won't be completely realized for centuries. There is very little we can do about that, but we CAN take measures to mitigate our impact, and we have had some success. We need to do much more.
The following steps are to be taken to minimize global warming :-
1) to minimize emission of factory smokes, gases by countries like USA,
China,India, Brazil as hole in ozone layer has already done irreparable damage
to world climate.
2) to ban nuclear tests both underground and at sea.
3) to educate common people about the dangers global warming may cause
in our every day life.
Global Warming.
True global warming does not decrease temperatures. So, either the model for global warming's effects is hokus-pokus, or global warming as presently claimed, does not exist. Some global warming followers will have you believe that global warming makes the weather "act crazy". If true, then it is not really global warming, is it.
Global warming in itself isn't pollution - global warming is the gradual warming of the earth. However, global warming was caused by carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere, but global warming in itself isn't a pollution. yes it is a pollution
Global warming is not important.Global warming isn't happening.Global warming is happening but it's not our fault.Global warming is happening but we can't do anything about it.Scientists are not sure about global warming.
Global warming is warming the air. It is also warming the land and the oceans.
less air polution
No one is to blame, yet if the Answer to the Above is Nothing, then The answer to "What has been done to Maximize Global Warming?" is Everything - nonStop!
we can minimize it by cutting short the use of air conditioners, refrigerators, aerosol sprays and all the things which contain clouroflouorcarbons ( CCL2F2,CCL3F),which damage the ozone layer and become a cause of global warming.
