You can electrolyze water to form O2 and H2 gas.

See the Web Links for more information about how to do this.
Be CAREFUL! Both pure oxygen gas and hydrogen gas are HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE!

Normally, an ozone generator is used to produce an ozone stream, the ozone-bearing gas is supercooled, and the ozone liquifies while the parent gas leaves. The liquid ozone is then used / heated / whatever. It doesn't last too long since ozone, even liquid ozone, decays, so it gets used pretty quickly. Most ozone generators pass an electric current through an oxygen-containing gas, the oxygen molecules break apart, and some of the oxygen atoms associate with oxygen molecules to form ozone.

In the lab, you can obtain oxygen from hydrogen peroxide, a colorless liquid.

Hydrogen peroxide has the formula H2O2. It decomposes like this:

2H2O2 -------> 2H2O + O2.

It decomposes very very slowly on its own.

But magnesium (IV) oxide is a catalyst for this reaction, so it is added to the flask.
