Floods are dangerous because they float houses, boats, and people away. And they have nasty stuff in there like germs, trash, dead animals, and whatever it sucks up. If a flood is coming your way, get all of your family together, get a safety kit, get on the roof on your house, and be safe. Try to stay on your roof when a flood is blocking your way.

∙ 13y agoFloods are very distructive. They can ruin crops, roads, towns and even citys. They can also kill wildlife and humans. After the water has traveled away there is alot if destruction left leaving land and houses ruined. Grass, bushes and most trees will be dead.
