  1. Emergency assistance to households
  2. Recovery assistance for families
  3. Income support for people who have lost their jobs
  4. Assistance for businesses
  5. Funding to rebuild infrastructure
  • Queensland emergency service rescue boats helped out
  • More than $3 million already been paid
  • Former Australian Priminister set up barbecue for some of those who managed to escape the worst of the flooding
