Around here, Western MA, where coyotes typically only attack smaller mammals, Coy Dogs have been known to attack livestock on occasion.

But imagine that one day, a logger comes and cuts the tree down. Maybe the eggs fell down and broke. And when the mother bird comes back, it doesn't have a home (it will have to make a nest again).
