the wavelenths for violet average around 400nm (nanometers), while red is 650nm. Humans are unable to see any wavelengths lower then violet region ( lower than this known as ultraviolet) or anything higher then red region (higher then this known as infrared). Red is the long wave and, while violet is the shortwave end.
I'm doing this project for science fair, so I'm glad to help : )
purple or violet is the last of the visible light colors. purple
If you are talking about a neon light, you can use any of the noble gases in a light. Helium would produce a pink color, neon would produce a red color, argon would produce a light blue color, krypton would produce a white color, xenon would produce a purple color. I don't recommend using radon, but if you were to it would produce a green color.
The flame color of cesium is typically described as a sky-blue or violet color. When cesium is burned, the electrons in the cesium atoms get excited and emit energy in the form of light, producing the characteristic flame color.
When iodine is mixed with decane, it typically forms a purple or violet color. This color change is due to the reaction between iodine and the carbon-carbon double bonds in decane, resulting in the formation of an adduct that absorbs light in the visible spectrum, giving it a purple color.
red. bending is a physical phenomenon called defraction , the less frequency ( or the longer the wave length) the more the defraction. since the red has the least frequency it bends more than any colour.
Violet light rays have shorter wavelengths and higher energy than red light rays. This difference in wavelength is what gives violet light its characteristic color, which is distinct from the longer wavelength red light.
Violet light has the shortest wavelength of the visible spectrum.
The color light with the highest frequency is violet. This means that violet light has the shortest wavelength among visible light colors.
The color of the shortest wavelength is violet. Violet light has the shortest wavelength within the visible spectrum of light.
Blue and violet light have the shortest wavelengths in the visible light spectrum.
The dye is absorbing all colors of light except for violet, which is being reflected. This means that violet light is what we see as the color of the shirt.
Violet flowers are typically purple in color, ranging from light lavender to deep indigo.

Purple and violet are not the same color. Purple is a combination of blue and red pigments, while violet is a spectral color with its own unique wavelength on the visible light spectrum. Purple tends to be a warmer and more red-leaning color, while violet is a cooler, bluer color.
Violet light waves have the highest frequency among the visible light spectrum.
