North Carolina's humidity makes the temperature outside seem much hotter than it actually is. Humidity is moisture in the air.
well if its really hot then the soil will dry out but then if it has humidity outside then it will have some moisture but not much, and then the soil will be unhealthy
The weather will be cold outside with little wind and high humidity. Be careful in this type of weather because you won't be able to see very well outside.
Humidity indicates the likelihood of precipitation, dew, or fog. High humidity makes people feel hotter outside in the summer because it reduces the effectiveness of sweating to cool the body by reducing the evaporation of perspiration from the skin. This effect is calculated in a heat index table.

Temperature and humidity are the measurements commonly used to assess the pleasantness of weather. These affect most how hot or cold it "feels" outside.

It is called the "relative humidity". The outside air today could have saturation (100% humidity). But is is actually 42% relative humidity. That's "how much there is compared to how much there could be".

No, Humidity is when there is moist in the air. If it is high then there will be a lot of moist in the air. There for keeping them wet.
Because it's about relative humidity, not absolutehumidity. Air can carry a certain amount of moisture dependent on which temperature it is, with warmer air being able to carry more before condensation occurs. If you have two volumes of air, both containing the same amount of water, then the warm volume will be a lower relative humidity than the cold volume.
that depends on the temperature outside the greenhouse and the size of the greenhouse ect..
The heat index combines air temperature and relative humidity to determine how hot it feels outside.

Humidity meters are used to measure the humidity outside. Typically, these would be placed on the outside of your house to accurately measure the humidity.
If the relative Humidity of a certain material or spot in your house is above 80 percent. You will get fungus and damp.
