When the thermometer is off, press and hold the power button until it gets to the "Lo" screen, then when it flashes, press the power button again until you see 'F' instead of "C".
While the thermometer is OFF press and hold for 5 seconds the "START" button, it will show the --- °C on the display, now press and release the "START" button one time and it will show --- °F. Let the display turn off and it should be on Fahrenheit when you turn the thermometer back on. Hope this helps some people out.

I was seaching for an answer, and I was able to change it using a method similar to the thermometer answer. First I hit the + button and held it while I then pressed the power button. It just switched from C back to F. I'm not sure how it changed to C in the first place!!! But I must have hit the same combo at some point! (Model 08320)
