My reason that the rotation of the earth is when The seasons are explained by the tilt of the Earths axis. When it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere, the north pole is pointed in the direction of the sun. the tilt of the Earth isn't what changes seasons, but the the Earth's revolution around the sun does. The Earth revolves around the sun so different parts of the Earth are more affected by the sun then other parts through out the year. The seasons are NOT determined by the distance of the Earth to the Sun. In fact, the Earth is closest to the Sun in the Northern hemisphere's Winter (January) sincerely happiness ok ok bye hope you like this if you do please call 862-956-2233
The geographical North and South Pole - not the magnetic poles.
The influence of earths rotation is called the Coriolis effect. The coriolis effect causes wind to curve instead of going in a straight line.
Earth rotates on its axis from west to east, causing day and night. The rotation takes about 24 hours to complete, resulting in the cycle of sunrise and sunset. This rotation also gives the planet its distinctive oblate shape.
Rotation and Revolution.
The Coriolis effect is caused by the rotation of the Earth. As the Earth spins on its axis, moving objects are deflected to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere due to the Coriolis force. This effect influences ocean currents, winds, and aircraft flight paths.
