• Climate dictates what crops can be grown, when they can be grown, the yield and success of those crops.
• Climate dictates what animals can be farmed and where they can successfully be farmed.
• Climate dictates what houses or buildings you live in, whether you need the building to be heated or cooled. This in turn can dictate what energy sources are required to successfully inhabit an area.
• Climate dictates human interaction with each other and other social aspects. Some societies have very strongly developed outdoor lifestyles, while others are confined indoors due to relatively poor climates.
• Climate dictates what clothing you buy.
