Hydrogen peroxide acts as a bleaching agent because it is a strong oxidizer. Because colored compounds are often caused by conjugated electrons or metal complexes, adding an oxidizer which destroys these compounds causes removal of the color.

How can you make H2O2 drinkable?

H2O2 is drinkable, it's hydrogen peroxide but it's poisonso you can't drink it. It's a very good antiseptic and bleaching agent (good for bleaching hair) and is sometimes prescribed as a mouthwash for mouth sores.I've never seen it sold at more than 6% concentration and even that can burn skin so you can appreciate that it's a very powerful oxidizing chemical.

Do h2o and h2o2 have the same properties?

No, H2O is just normal water, H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) is a very toxic, reactive, oxidative, bleaching chemical.

How is it possible for hydrogen peroxide to be both an oxidizing agent and reducing agent?

When H2O2 serves as an oxidizing agent, the oxygen is reduced to H2O. When H2O2 serves as a reducing agent, the oxygen is oxidized to O2 and bubbles are noticed.

Is bromine in bleaching agent?

Bromine can be used as an bleaching agent but commercially available bleach usually contains Sodium hypochlorite (NaClO)

When the H2O2 serves as an oxidizing agent which product might be formed from it O2 or H2O?

When H2O2 acts as an oxidizing agent, the H2O2 must be reduced. Therefore, the product from it will be water, in which oxygen has an oxidation number of -2, whereas in H2O2 has an oxidation number of -1 and in O2 the oxygen has an oxidation number of 0.
