Overfishing can effect a human because .... the fishermen or fisher lady ... have to stay awake all night and day to ... prepare to catch a fish .... this can mean they can get cranky and can smell for days ... because they are too tired to do anything ... they just care about going fishing again.......... THIS IS ALL TRUE BTW. xx
Over fishing affects us by using up all the fish that some need to survive or that we humans just use for different reasons
Fishing regulations are set up for several reasons:
Failing to follow these guides can:
Overfishing puts a species in a position where the surviving fish cannot reproduce quickly enough to be able to replace the fish taken.
A trawler pulling a net along the sea bottom removes up to 25% of the seabed life in that area with each sweep. So it's not just the target fish that are being caught in the net, other species of fish and marine animals are also caught in these nets.
The bottlenose dolphin in the Mediterraneon Sea has seen a 60% population decrease because of overfishing of sardines and anchovies. Overfishing of herring around Rost Island in Norway has caused the starvation of many puffin chicks, with a population decrease possibly as high as 60%, as their parents cannot find enough food for them. These are just two of many species affected by overfishing.
While fish farms are seen by many as a solution, some of the food for farm stock fish is wild caught fish. This is not really a solution as it takes prey fish out of the ocean food chain.
Watering lawns, burning leaves, fishing and hunting, etc.
a natural harbour is natural so what would it do to affect the environment
NO
its acid is gonna affect it
It doesnt...?
dynamite fishing, illegal logging, moro ami fishing these are some of the human activities that impact on the thermal environment
While fishing one must have a license, otherwise it is illegal. The cause of illegal fishing would be the costs of specific fishing licenses.
Watering lawns, burning leaves, fishing and hunting, etc.
since the growing seasons were very short they depended on gathering, hunting and fishing. They did not farm because their environment provided them with abundant amounts of food.
Fly fishing isn't illegal unless the fishing season is closed for a certain species. It really depends on your location and regulations.
Blast fishing is generally illegal in most jurisdictions.
Yes. When someone does not follow rules and regulations the fishing activity is illegal and can the person can be charged with poaching or fined by conservation officers.
Illegal fishing is sometimes called poaching. Poachers do not respect fishing seasons (times when you are allowed to fish for a give species) which could affect breeding and lower fish stocks in a body of water. Poacher also may not abide by catch limits which adds further pressure to the fish and may lower fish stocks in the given body of water.Poaching (fishing out of season, or for protected species, or fishing above quotas, or fishing without a license) is a criminal act and could lead to fines and imprisonment.
Yes.
It's an easy way to get a lot of fish quickly. But it is illegal, and dangerous. Only people with no idea of sportsmanship and a lack of caring about the environment endulge in such a practice.
Poaching is illegal hunting and fishing that is causing wildlife in Africa to become engangered.
Game wardens can check for fishing licenses and the number of fish caught.
