Water from the ocean is evaporated by the sun, The hot water vapor rises and expands because there is less air pressure higher in the sky , then furhter inland, the water condences into clouds and falls down as rain (or precipitaion). Its called the water cycle

Water vapour becomes rainwater when it condenses and form clouds. When the vapour rises, the environment (atmosphere) will get colder, and water vapour condenses when it is cold. After the clouds get too heavy when too much water vapour has condensed, it will fall back to Earth as rainwater.

Clouds are made up of water vapors, so when the water vapors get really heavy the water vapors are released. That is condensation. The precipitation is either going to be rain, sleet, snow, or hail.

Where does water vapour turn back to water?

Rain

How is the fall of rain?

The sun heats up the water then the water vapour condenses into clouds. The clouds become saturated and precipitation is the result.

Why doesn't rain fall from all clouds?

All rain falls from clouds, but clouds that you see which don't have rain falling from them are just not raining because the cloud has not become saturated with water vapour. When it does become so, it will rain.

Can water vapour be turned back to liquid?

Yes, in the atmosphere water vapour falls as rain.

How does the water come down?

When the water vapour in clouds merge and become droplets, they will fall as rain. Two basic reasons are the droplets have become too heavy, and gravity.

What is the path of water from the ocean to a raindrop?

it's the water cycle. the water from the ocean's evaporate with the heat from the sun and go up as water-vapour. they from clouds. when the clouds pass over mountains or when the clouds become heavy, the water vapour condenses and comes down as rain.

Which processes of the water cycle show heat being added and which ones show heat beign removed?

How the water cycle and heat are related: Adding or subtracting heat makes the water cycle work. If heat is added to ice, it melts. If heat is added to water, it evaporates. Evaporation turns liquid water into a gas called water vapour. As water goes through its cycle, it can be a solid (ice), a liquid (water), or a gas (water vapour). Ice can change to become water or water vapour. Water can change to become ice or water vapour. Water vapour can change to become ice or water. If heat is taken away from water vapour, it condenses. Condensation turns water vapour into a liquid. If heat is taken away from liquid water, it freezes to become ice. The water cycle involves the sun heating the Earth's surface water and resulting in the surface water evaporating. The water vapour rises into the Earth's atmosphere. The water cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow until they are heavy and fall to the earth as precipitation (which can be rain, freezing rain or snow).

How do puddles disapear?

When a puddle is made after a while the sun will shine and the water of the puddle evaporates and becomes water vapour. It will join up with other parts of water vapour and become a cloud. When the cloud gets to heavy It will rain and make more puddles

Does rain fall from the sky or clouds?

CloudsThe rain comes from the clouds which has water in the form of water vapour .These water vapour condenses due to low temperature in the atmosphere and come to earth as rain or in any other way of precipitation

What happens to water vapors?

Water vapour evaporates due to heat and goes into the clouds. Then when the clouds cool the water vapour condenses and falls as rain <== I think :S

Why does your hair get wet in the rain?

your hair gets wet in the rain because the vapour of the water and its force

Difference between rain and dew?

dew is condensation of excess water vapour rain is drops of water that falls from clouds
