The rocks can be formed during the same period because a period is such a long period (apologies for the repetition of the word) of time. The obvious case is with igneous rocks: One eruption, lava cools and solidifies, next eruption, cools, solidifies. Two distinct layers of rock from perhaps within the same decade! Else, a rock may be formed at the beginning of a period...for example: agglomerate formed from an eruption is buried deep within the Earth, is compressed and lithifies. Then it is resurfaced due to extreme erosion, perhaps now towards the end of the period. Then an eruption causes lava to cover it, forming another layer of rock. There's two hypothetical situations, however, there may be more.

Is it possible to get pregnant while you have you period?

AnswerYes, it's all possible and depends on when you ovulate, so make sure you use protection unless you're trying to get pregnantAnswerIt's possible but highly unlikely since during your period you are shedding the layers of the uterine wall that weren't used by a fertilized egg therefore making it almost impossible for an egg to implant if fertilization does occur you have a better chance of getting pregnant about 1 -2 weeks after the first day of your period since that is when most women ovulate
