In general, man does not respect the environment or take care of it. Man cuts down rain forests, which are vital to the health of the environment in many ways. Man overuses synthetic fertilizers and pesticides that pollute the soil and water. Manufacturing companies pollute the air and water by dumping their waste products into the environment. People in general do not recycle what they can. By doing all those things and more, man is the worst enemy of his own environment and the environment of future generations.
