The slant rays relate to the seasons because the direct rays shine right on a spot and that makes summer. But as the earth tilts the rays are not as strong and not as bright so if its not a direct its slanted which gives it different seasons.!!
The revolvtion is not the only answer also light rays hitting the earths surface
It is winter in the northern hemisphere when it tilts away from the sun, and summer in the southern hemisphere when it tilts towards the sun. It is this tilting that creates the seasons.
The Seasons. The Earth tilting toward the Sun causes summer (closer & more directly toward the suns rays) & Winter when it is tilted away causing the Sun's rays to hit the Earth in a glancing manner.
The earth is on a 23.5 degree tilt so as it journeys around the sun, the sun's rays hit different parts of Earth, thus creating the seasons. It is also true that if the sun's rays are hitting the northern hemisphere, creating summer, the southern hemisphere will have the opposite season, winter. It is the same for spring and fall.
This is because the equator is above Zimbabwe and is below Poland. It's very simple, during the autumunal equinox, the rays of the sun are coming from the Northern part of the world. The seasons all have to do with Earth's tilt and the rays of the sun.
in the north and south pole
They bounce off at the same angle as they went in at.
Because , the sun doesn't fall directly ( slant rays)
