It really depends on the temperature. Anything below 0 degrees and the snow can take weeks to melt. If it is above 5 degrees it will be completely gone within a couple of days.
If you like my answer, please give me a trust point.
Object fall unaided at a rate of 32 feet per second per second. Adding in wind resistance and the height from which it was dropped could tell you the answer, but with such a vague question, it's impossible to say.
snow can last up to 4 weeks if it is a strong winter like last year!
thanks for believing my answer i can assure you it is true
Peace out x
EDIT-
Snow in California does not last very long...after there is a "winter storm" or heavy snow fall..it's best to go 2 or 3 hours after it starts because it will begin melting around 12pm, Cali is a dry state.

A snowflake normally has six sides which are also known as branches. All snowflakes take the shape of a hexagon.
Snowflakes are conglomerations of frozen ice crystals, which fall through the Earth's atmosphere. They begin as two snow crystals that develop when microscopic supercooled cloud droplets freeze. Snowflakes come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Complex shapes emerge as the flake moves through differing temperature and humidity ranges. A 3D snowflake is a snowflake with three dimensions: length, width, and depth (like a real snowflake). This is opposed to a 2D snowflake that has only length and width (like a drawing of a snowflake).

Why did the snowflake fall? it should have waited for the chicken to cross the road first.

Not too long.
