I'm sorry that's impossible. It would take practically fictional technology to arrive at the core.

ok, that is that guy's idea, but here is the truth:

it takes 4.6 billion licks to get to the center of the earth. this experiment was conducted by a group of scientists in Bambembimbombum, a country off the shore of Florida. All of the scientist who conducted the experiment never returned, thus meaning they died when they reached the fiery core. their suits were strong enough to handle the mantle, however the core burned their little crazy souls...

How long does it take to get to the center of the earth?

You cant, what you see in the movies is just in the movies. This is all made up. There are caves all over the world that do go quite far into the Earth but not anywhere near the center. The Earth is too hot for anyone to even come near it.

How deep would you drill to reach the center of the earth?

If you to dig one foot per minute, then it would take six years to get the center of the earth. INCORRECT. The Earth's diameter is approx 8,000 miles, making the radius (distance to the center of the sphere) approx 4000 miles. A mile is 5,280 ft, and 4,000 of those = 21,120,000 ft. If you could dig one foot per minute, as stated by the previous answer above, then there are 525,600 minutes in a year. Now, divide the amount of total feet (21,120,000) by the number of feet per year (525,600) to get how long it would take to dig to the center of the earth, which is a little over 40 years. that's how long it would take. 40 YEARS. If someone fell into a hole and was in a free fall all the way down, it would take over 30 hours to free fall to the center of the earth. "If someone fell into a hole and was in a free fall all the way down, it would take over 30 hours to free fall to the center of the earth." INCORRECT. I'm pretty sure you forgot to calculate the increase in gravity as you travel closer to the core

How long would it take to fall to the earth's core?

It is physically impossible to fall to the Earth's core due to extreme heat and pressure. If such a fall were possible, using theoretical calculations, it would take roughly 42 minutes to fall through a tunnel that extends through the Earth's center assuming no air resistance.

How long to walk to the center of the earth?

You would have to walk about 3,963 miles in order to reach the center of the Earth. If you were to walk nonstop at 3 mph, it would take 1321 hours, or about 55 days. this is without sleep ing or stopping at all but hey as you're already doing the impossible why not be SUPER HUMAN and not sleep for 55 days :) hope that helped

How long does it take for the Earth's magnetic field to reverse?

The Earth's magnetic field can take thousands of years to reverse.
