Depends on where you live. I spent 35 years in NW Bergen county where we averaged 36" of snow a season over a 30 year period.
Of course what is a snowstorm? Over 2", 3, 4 etc...I would say the average snowfall is around 3" which is about 12 falls per year in that part of the state. But that includes the 20" STORMS and the 0.5" "storms".
