Increased carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere may increase the growth and yield of some plants. However, there may be drawbacks. A 2012 study has shown that wheat production (the world's most important crop) will rise through global warming, if there is enough rain, but the wheat holds less nourishment than before.
The study included 43 field experiments with 17 different varieties of wheat, carried out in ten countries across four continents. They all showed the same result.

The increased concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere lead to ocean acidification, which can harm marine life and disrupt ecosystems.
Humans have greatly increased the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This is primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels for energy production, transportation, and industrial activities. This increase in carbon dioxide is a major contributor to global warming and climate change.
carbon dioxide
The combustion of fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, contributing to the greenhouse effect and global warming. This disrupts the balance of the carbon cycle by adding more carbon dioxide than natural systems can absorb, leading to increased levels of carbon in the atmosphere and oceans.
... the burning of fossil fuels, which is adding extra carbon dioxide to the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

An increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere results in an increased amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. A decrease usually results in a decreased concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere

It will rise. The temperature of the atmosphere is rising already because carbon dioxide is increasing due to human activity.

Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide as a raw material where carbon dioxide is fixed into organic molecules. This process lowers the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The seasonal fluctuation of carbon dioxide levels during a year may be caused by increased photosynthesis during spring and summer.
Carbon dioxide rises in the atmosphere.
