I believe that there is no specific answer to this question because there are many types of granite all over the world and therefore, the rocks' metomorphisme was not all done at the same time. What I can say though is that here in Quebec City, at the Canadian Shield's border, granite is dated at 950 000 000 to 1 billion years, and that some more northern parts of the shield, around Hudson's Bay for example, can be dated at over 4 billion years.
